SONY HSC-300
Specifications
Sony's standard definition (SD) and high definition (HD) production cameras have been widely accepted by a large number of video professionals around the world, due to their outstanding imaging performance and system versatility.
Sony is proud to introduce the new HSC-300 HD / SD System Camera equipped with newly developed digital triaxial technology, which enables the setup of systems with a conventional triaxial system.
The HSC-300 camera supports versatile HD applications with high-quality SD output. It uses the latest 14-bit A / D conversion circuit as well as incredible 2/3-inch Power HAD FX CCD sensors to provide high-quality images.
With the highly compact HSCU-300 camera control unit of 1.5 RU size, the HSC-300 camera offers a wide choice of system configurations, including the MSU-950/900 Master Configuration Unit. Therefore, the HSC-300 can be used in a large-scale broadcasting system consisting of multiple cameras or a single studio system.
The HSC-300 also offers the operation with large lenses in combination with Sony's HDLA-1500 Series Large Lens Adapters, which are accepted worldwide for operation with HDC series cameras. These lens adapters, which feature the unique "quick mount" design, help maximize camera operability.
With a variety of advantageous features built into this camera, such as its Focus Assist function, the HSC-300 offers true ease of use.
Power HAD FX CCD delivers even higher image performance
The use of a new, advanced CCD sensor ensures high quality images even at low lighting levels. The high sensitivity of F11 to 2000 lux along with a signal-to-noise ratio of -55 dB provide unprecedented image quality.
Dual format operation - 1080 50i and 720 50P.
The HSC-300 can operate in a wide variety of capture modes, including 1080 50i and 720 / 50p. In addition, this system features a wide-range downconverter, which offers this system as a superior quality HD ready SD system camera.
Ergonomic design
The HSC-300's design is based on more than two decades of Sony's experience in the manufacture of camcorders and camcorders for transmission, offering a high level of operability. All control switches and connectors are in the most obvious places and are positioned for optimal functionality and ease of use. The HSC-300's low center of gravity design allows the operator to carry the camera comfortably on the shoulder. In addition, the HSC-300's shoulder pad can be adjusted forward or backward without the use of a screwdriver, so the camera can be moved easily into a well-balanced position.
Sleek design of large format lens adapter with one-touch cordless coupling
The large lens adapter HDLA-1500 includes a unique mechanism that allows the HSC-300 to be turned on and off quickly and easily without removing the large lens. No additional cable connection is required between the camera and the adapter thanks to the original "shim" system.
